In the season of 2023, within the creative realm of Nothing Bird Studio, I, as a sculptor and experiential artist, find my artistic process to be adaptable, varying according to the materials I work with. Whether I’m immersed in 3D design, glass, ceramics, wood, or other mediums, I approach each project with a unique methodology.

To shape my creations, I employ a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques. I make use of a traditional wheel for throwing and engage in hand-building processes, ensuring a diverse range of artistic expression.

In the realm of glass artistry, I utilize a Bethlehem Steel Torch, a tool commonly associated with lampworking, to manipulate borosilicate glass. By fusing oxygen and propane into a scorching 2700°F flame, I mold and sculpt the glass into the desired forms, bringing my artistic visions to life.

Currently, much of my artistic focus is directed towards crafting portrait busts, with a particular emphasis on capturing intricate facial features. My aim is to lead the viewer’s gaze towards the internal emotional states portrayed within these sculptures. This creative journey typically commences with the crafting of a traditional clay bust, available in various sizes.

As an optimistic and altruistic artist, I firmly believe that Sculpture & 3D Design possess the extraordinary ability to enhance our innate capacity for empathy and understanding. My artworks are accessible on platforms such as OpenSea, Rarible Virtual Gallery, and Saatchi, offering a broader audience the opportunity to engage with my creations.

It is worth noting that I am largely self-taught, although my artistic journey has been marked by continuous exploration and learning, shaping me into the artist I am today.
